Light the Way for Youth
Spark new opportunities and resources for youth!
COVID-19 heightened educational challenges for many low-income students and their families, with over 20% of Black and Latinx students being less active in their online education. In 2022, we're focused on the recovery of our youth, their families, and the Metro LA community.
Your support secures Club members' access to specialized programming targeting mental wellness (music, art, conflict resolution) and ongoing academic growth through homework assistance, STEM, and more!
Light the Way for Youth: The Outcomes
As a result of our programs and partnerships (made possible by our donors), we've seen incredible outcomes:
We serve over 1,850 youth across our sites
Over 200,000 free, healthy meals served to the community and youth
94% of Club Members feel confident solving math problems
6.6 months average reading level growth over 7 weeks
91% of Club Members have access to musical instruments
Up to 55 youth are safely transported from school to the Clubhouse under our Transportation Program
185 teens are supported through the College Bound program
